Cesc Fabregas has found himself more often than not on the bench this season for Chelsea, but Glenn Hoddle believes that Chelsea look a better side when he’s on.
The Spaniard started the game against Wolves on Saturday, and his passing left a huge impression on Glenn Hoddle.
“He’s a wonderful footballer,” Hoddle told BT Sport.
“I think it’s down to him [whether he stays]. Can he sit on the bench?
“When you look at his passes, he finds [Diego] Costa almost with his eyes shut.
“He’s like a quarterback in the NFL. That’s what he gives you.
“He actually elevates them offensively. I think they’re a better team football-wise with Fabregas in the team.”
Surely I do agree with Glenn Hoddle I myself find that with Fabregas in it gets easier for Costa to score many goals. I like their combination, it is fantastic.
