Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is a big admirer of Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci and he reportedly tried signing the defender before Bonucci opted to stay in Turin and sign a new five-year contract in December.

According to The Sun, Bonucci’s Juventus future appears to be in the air after the 29-year-old defender clashed with Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri.

Bonucci was fined by Juventus following his bust-up with Allegri and he was left out of Champions League squad that will play Porto tonight.

Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport claim Bonucci will consider his Juventus future in the wake of the incident and this has prompted speculation linking Chelsea with the defender.
