Chelsea are set to meet Arsenal today at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea legend Marcel Desailly insists Arsenal star Mesut Ozil isn’t good enough to play for Chelsea.

Desailly, who spent six seasons at Stamford Bridge, believes Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez is good enough to play for Chelsea according to a report by The Sun.

“Alexis Sanchez,” Desailly replied when asked which player he would take from Arsene Wenger’s squad.

“When you see him playing with Chile, it’s amazing.

“With Arsenal… not so good. I don’t know whether I’d put him on the left side or the right side or up front.”

Desailly revealed even though Ozil has the capacity to make a difference in games, he lacks effectiveness over 90 minutes during games.

“Not Ozil, because when you are an Arsenal supporter, you must be very frustrated with the capacity of the player and his effectiveness over 90 minutes.

“It’s very frustrating to see this world champion having that capacity of making a difference and being the leader of the team – but it doesn’t happen often.”
