Chelsea are reportedly on alert for Everton’s Romelu Lukaku after Everton boss Ronald Koeman emerged as a leading contender for the Barcelona job according to a report by Daily Express.
Barcelona are reportedly ready to axe Luis Enrique at the end of the season after Barcelona’s woeful display against PSG on Tuesday night and Everton’s manager Koeman is the favourite with some bookmakers to be the next Barcelona boss.
The future of Lukaku at Everton will be cast in doubt if Koeman leaves Everton this summer because Lukaku was convinced to stay at Everton last summer following the arrival of Koeman.
Lukaku left Chelsea for Everton in 2014 for a fee of £28 million and Antonio Conte is reportedly willing to bring the striker back to Stamford Bridge.
