According to a report by Tuttomercatoweb, Chelsea sent scouts to watch 23-year-old Torino striker Andrea Belotti in action against Fiorentina.
Belotti scored a brace and missed a penalty as Torino drew 2-2 with Fiorentina and his performance must have impressed the Chelsea scouts.
Belotti has been in sensational form this season, bagging 19 goals in 25 appearances for Torino and he has a release clause that non-Italian clubs can activate for around £84m.
Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United are reportedly interested in the striker.
Torino chief Gianluca Petrachi last month claimed that he rejected a £56 million bid from Arsenal for the striker. Petrachi claimed the fee doesn’t reflect the value of the player.
