Antonio Conte is close to winning the Premier League in just his first season in charge of Chelsea, but the Italian isn’t getting carried away.

After the sacking of Claudio Ranieri, it dawned on the manager that result is all that matters.

With Roman Abramovich always giving the sack when the results stop flowing, Conte is well aware that the results are very important.

The Blues boss said: “I think that in this football, in this type of modern football, it is not easy to start a project or to be sure you will stay in a for a long time in the same team. It is not only for me but for all coaches.

“Then for sure if you have the possibility to stay for many years in the same team, yeah, you can work to improve your idea. You can work to improve your players.

“But the results…the results in this football is very important. We all know this and it can happen that one season you win the title and the next you can be going on your way.”
