Antonio Conte has taken to life in Chelsea and London very well in his first season in charge of the Blues, and the Italian is impressed with what’s on ground in the club, the city of London and the Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich.
Not many of Chelsea’s sacked managers will tell you that they enjoyed working with Abramovich, but Conte is enjoying his work with the King of the ‘Roman Empire’.
In an interview with Chelsea pitch owners, Conte said: “Yeah [it’s a good place to live], and honestly it wasn’t easy, overall, at the start.
“But I’m trying now to get into the habits.
“I’m lucky to stay in London, to live a good reality in Chelsea, because it’s a place you can see if you want to work, you can work.
“You have a fantastic training ground, you have an owner, Mr Abramovich, who stays very close to our teams and wants to know a lot.
“It’s good this, I like to have sometimes a conversation about football.”
With his team on its way to becoming league champions, surely, Conte has every reason to be happy.
