David Luiz has been playing in pain since the nasty tackle from Sergio Aguero against Manchester City, back in December.

The Brazilian looked uncomfortable in the last league game against Burnley, which prompted Chelsea fans to question Antonio Conte’s decision to play him and not give him a rest.

Well, the Brazilian will get a deserved rest against Wolves on Saturday, and will not take part in the game.

Speaking about his knee, Conte said: “His knee is okay, it’s improved a lot since the game at Man City. It’s important to keep the situation under control. He’s doing training sessions with the physical coach.”

Indeed, Luiz needs to have a rest, and we have to praise the Brazilian for the efforts he has put in this season, irrespective of the pains he’s going through.
