Chelsea manager Antonio Conte and his backroom staff travelled to England rugby’s HQ at Pennyhill Park to discuss training and tactics.
The Blues are 8 points clear at the top of the league with 13 games to go – while Australian Eddie Jones has led England to a 16-match winning streak.
You’d remember that Eddie Jones visited Chelsea last season when Guus Hiddink was in charge of the club.
Speaking of the visit, the Chelsea boss told englandrugby.com: “For me it was very interesting to observe another sport and the differences between the two such as the physical aspect to their training as well as speak with Eddie Jones about the analysis side to the game.
“It is important for me to compare my work and experience with another sport to gain inspiration and tactical ideas for the future.
“I learnt today about how detailed the preparation is in rugby through video analysis as well as the physical element to the sport.
“We spoke about our experience and it was very interesting to speak to him. Eddie is a winner and he is transferring that mentality onto the team.”
