The draw against Burnley away from home has brought Chelsea down from their high horses, and Thibaut Courtois is now well aware of the threat West Ham and Stoke City can possess in their ground.
Chelsea beat both West Ham and Stoke at Stamford Bridge in the first half of the season, but Courtois is wary of returning to their grounds to play them, while admitting that the team will have to work hard to win those games.
“We just take it game by game and we don’t look at who is behind us,” he said. “We just try to win our games and we will see. The Premier League is very hard with away games against teams like Burnley.
“We still have to go to West Ham and Stoke, they’re always hard, but we have to work like we have been doing for the past months and we will be fine.”
