If Diego Costa was to mention the easiest defence he has played against in the Premier League, don’t be surprised if he says Swansea City.
The Brazilian-born Spain international, has been a constant menace when coming up against Swansea.
Diego Costa has scored seven goals in his four Premier League games against Swansea, more than against any other side in the division.
The least number of goals Costa has scored (that’s when he scores against Swansea) is two; he has recorded one hatrick and two braces against the Swans.
In his first meeting against Swansea, back in September 2014, Costa scored a hatrick – a game Chelsea won 4-2. In his next appearance against Swansea, he scored a brace as Chelsea recorded a 5-0 win against Swansea in January 2015.
In the 2-2 draw against Swansea early in the season, it was Costa who scored all of Chelsea’s goals, as he saved us from the claws of what would have been an agonising defeat.
Maybe, you can put your money on Costa to find the net against Swansea at the Bridge today.
