Diego Costa has been one of the best players in the league this season. He currently has 15 goals in the league this campaign, and only Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez have scored more goals than the 28-year-old.
His scoring form seems to have reduced of late, as he is yet to find the net since he scored against Hull City. However, former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, doesn’t believe he has dropped form, rather he called him the best striker in the league.
“A dip in form? No I don’t agree. As a striker you get those little spells where you don’t score,” Hasselbaink told Sky Sports.
“You have to look at his attributes and the amount of work that he does. Look at how much he creates.
“But for me, pound for pound he’s the best striker in the Premier League.”
