Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium after losing his place in the starting XI to Gabriel Jesus.
Former Manchester City player Danny Mills believes Chelsea have the money to bid for Sergio Aguero if Diego Costa leaves Chelsea in the summer. Mills also insists Aguero would suit the way Chelsea plays.
Speaking to Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, Mills said: “Does someone like Chelsea come in for him?
“You don’t know what happens to Costa come the end of the season and he nearly went in the window. Will he want to stay in this country?
“They would certainly have the money and I think he would suit the way that they play.
“He’s got plenty of years left and signed a new contract but, as you know, that means nothing.
“So I think there would be lots of suitors that would happily take Aguero but I think, most importantly, he’s a proven goalscorer in the Premier League, which is one of the hardest leagues to score goals in.
“Whoever can afford him would happily take him.”
