Surprisingly, Manchester City have picked a bit of form and Pep Guardiola’s team who were outside the top four, are now the closest to Chelsea, as they are 8 points behind Chelsea in the title race.

However, Manchester United legend Gary Neville, believes it’ll be impossible for City to catch up with Chelsea.

“What City have in the next few weeks is confusing,” Neville told Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.

“They have different cup competitions and Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham have the same.

“Chelsea and Liverpool do have that sort of clear mind.”

Speaking about City’s hopes of catching Chelsea, Neville said: “It could happen but it’s a long shot. I don’t think it will happen and I don’t think Pep Guardiola thinks it will happen.
