Chelsea will be away at the Turf Moor, as Sean Dyche’s team host the Blues on Sunday afternoon.
Clarets defender Ben Mee is relishing his clash with Diego Costa, and can’t wait to do battle against the Chelsea forward. While he admitted that Costa is a top player, he then warned the Spain international that he’d want to dominate him at the Turf Moor.
Mee said: “He’s a very good player and one who’ll put themselves about as well as having the quality.
“I don’t think he gets as much credit as other players for that – he’s fantastic on the ball.
“I like that he’s got that edge about him – you wouldn’t want to take that away.
“If he’s in your side he’s fighting for everything for the group of lads he plays with.
“It adds to the battle. It’s going to be a good test and I want to come out on top.
“It’s one you enjoy. You’ve got to do your best yourself and it certainly makes you work harder.”
