Chelsea captain John Terry, has the experience of what it takes to do a double, as he captained the Blues to a league and FA Cup double back in 2009/2010 season under another Italian, Carlo Ancelotti.
Speaking from his wealth of experience, the Chelsea skipper shared the same sentiments with his manager, as he urged the players that it isn’t over yet.
The Chelsea skipper said: “As you see when we went away to Burnley last week, everyone expected us to pick up three points. This year, especially in the Premier League, everyone is beating everyone. It is not like five or 10 years ago when you could look at a fixture and think we can go there and pick up three points and move on to the next match. Everyone is set up really well and the quality of players has increased over the years as well. It is a long, long way to go but the most important thing this weekend is we are in the hat for the FA Cup draw.”
