I’m a firm believer in karma, and indeed, what goes around comes around.

Two seasons ago, Chelsea were league winners, and last season we flirted with relegation under former manager, Jose Mourinho, before his eventual sack.

Leicester City legend Gary Lineker, mocked Chelsea on his twitter account back in 2015. He tweeted: “Don’t panic Chelsea fans. No team in @premierleague history has won the title and been relegated the following season.”

Fortunately, we ended up in 10th position.

However, his beloved Foxes, who were league winners last season, are in worse condition than Chelsea. Claudio Ranieri’s are deep in relegation waters, and if they don’t start winning games, they’ll be in the lower division next season, and the surprising thing about it is that they were champions last season.

A twitter user has resurrected Lineker’s old tweet and used it against him.

Surely, Lineker will be hoping no defending champion ever goes down.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
