Chelsea beat Arsenal 3-1, and it was a scoreline that drew Chelsea closer to the league.
Former Liverpool midfielder Graeme Souness who now works as a pundit, believes the reason why Chelsea are better than their title rivals is because Chelsea know how to win games even when they aren’t dominating possession. Arsenal dominated possession against Chelsea, but the Blues were by far the better side, prompting the pundit to believe that’s the major difference between Chelsea and the rest.
He told Sky Sports: “Chelsea don’t have to dominate the ball to win football matches.
“They went to Liverpool in midweek and didn’t have much of the ball, but they didn’t get beat. That’s what champions do.
“They grind out a result. You win games when players like Costa aren’t at their best. Chelsea are a very dangerous team.
“When you win games and you’re not bang at it – that makes a threat.”
