While Chelsea struggled to get a 1-1 draw against Burnley on Sunday, Chelsea loan army were in good form for their clubs.

Izzy Brown opened the scoring for Huddersfield Town as they beat Queens Park Rangers to secure their fifth consecutive victory and move up to third place in the Championship. It was his fourth goal in five appearances for his new club.

Tammy Abraham was also on song for Bristol City in the Championship, as he scored a brace from close range for Bristol City, but only came away with a point after Derby County fought back from 3-0 down in the second half.

Christian Atsu came on at half-time in Newcastle United’s 1-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers, his first appearance since the African Cup of Nations.

In the Dutch league, Tammy Abraham was on fire for PSV just after winning bronze in the African Cup of Nations. He dribbled past a couple of defenders to score Ajax’s first goal in their 2-0 win against Sparta Rotterdam.

Marco van Ginkel scored the third goal for PSV late in the game, in a 3-0 win against Utrecht.

Lewis Baker and Nathan both started for Vitesse Arnhem, with Matt Miazga coming on as a first-half substitute, as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Willem II.

In Germany, Andreas Christensen helped Borussia Monchengladbach beat Werder Bremen 1-0, but Michael Hector’s Eintracht Frankfurt suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of Bayer Leverkusen.

In the Serie A, Mario Pasalic was also on the score sheet against Bologna away from home, in dramatic fashion for AC Milan midweek, as he converted Gerard Deulofeu’s low cross with less than a minute left on the clock after seeing his team reduced to nine men by red cards.

In England’s third tier division, Jordan Houghton and Doncaster Rovers secured a point with a 0-0 draw away to Newport, and Charlie Colkett and Fankaty Dabo both played the full 90 minutes of Swindon’s League One loss to Bury.

In Turkey, Kenneth Omeruo helped Alanyaspor win 3-0 against Genclerbirligi.
