It was another weekend of games for the Chelsea loan army, and many Blue players were in action for their loan clubs.

Izzy Brown came off the bench for Huddersfield Town in their FA Cup clash against Manchester City. The Terriers held a strong City side to a goalless draw and forced a replay at the Etihad Stadium next week.

Tomas Kalas was in defence for Fulham as they crashed out of the Cup, after suffering a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday.

Marco van Ginkel continued his fine form for PSV in the Dutch league. He was on target from the penalty spot for PSV Eindhoven who beat Nijmegen 3-1. The midfielder has scored four goals in six games for PSV, with all six ending in victory to lift them up to third in the table.

In the Serie A this weekend, Mario Pasalic started for AC Milan and he played the pass for Everton’s on-loan Gerard Deulofeu to score the winner in a 2-1 victory against Fiorentina.

In the Europa League, Andreas Christensen featured in Borussia Moenchengladbach’s loss to Fiorentina on Thursday, while Bertrand Traore was also in action for Ajax in that competition, coming away from Legia Warsaw with a goalless draw.

Christensen again lined up at the back for Moenchengladbach in Sunday’s Bundesliga tie at home to RB Leipzig, which the visitors won 2-1. Michael Hector came on at half-time for 10-man Eintracht Frankfurt in a 2-0 defeat against Ingolstadt.

In last weekend’s match between Vitesse Arnhem and Ajax, there was plenty of Chelsea players in action. Lewis Baker, Matt Miazga and Nathan all started for hosts Vitesse, with Mukhtar Ali coming off the bench, while Bertrand Traore played for an hour in that game. The match ended 1-0 in favour of Ajax.

In the Belgian League, Metaj Delac was in goal for Mouscron who lost 2-1 to Waasland-Beveren and Cristian Cuevas played for St Truidense in a 4-1 defeat at Waregem. In Colombia, Jhoao Rodriguez lined up in Cortulua’s 2-0 loss at Deportivo Cali.

In the League One during the weekend, Charlie Colkett started Swindon’s goalless draw at home to Oldham, and in the League Two, Jamal Blackman was in goal for Wycombe who lost 2-1 to Carlisle on Saturday.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
