Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been a regular for Chelsea in the FA Cup this season, and the Chelsea youngster who has been excellent in the FA reveals he’s beginning to form an understanding with Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, who has found the net in both our FA Cup games.
Having linked up well earlier in the season against Bristol Rovers, Loftus-Cheek teed up the Belgian to score against Peterborough with a cushioned volley.
Speaking about their understanding, he said: “In training the link-up is improving all the time. I’m getting used to where he likes to run and what he wants to do, and he’s getting used to the positions I take up and how it can benefit the team, so it’s been working well.”
We hope to see more of that understanding at the Molineux Stadium this evening.
