About two months ago, Chelsea beat Manchester City 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium, and one of the highlights of that game was Sergio Aguero’s horror tackle on David Luiz.
Speaking to the official Chelsea website last month, Luiz revealed he has been unable to hone his free-kick skills as much as he would normally in training, due to the foul he suffered against Manchester City.
The Brazilian also limped in the game against Liverpool, and even signalled the bench to be substituted, but finally played the game till the end.
Speaking about his goal at Anfield, the 29-year-old revealed he hasn’t been training for free-kicks since the injury. He said: “It (the goal) was great. I cannot train too much because of my knee but sometimes God helps.
