According to a report by Daily Star, Chelsea captain John Terry “Mr Chelsea” snubbed three lucrative offers to join the MLS ahead of the new MLS season that starts next month.
The three clubs that were keen to get Terry are LA Galaxy, New York Red Bulls and Orlando City.
Terry rejected the offers because he wants to see out the remainder of his Chelsea contract and he is also eager to win his fifth Premier League title with Chelsea this season.
Terry has been restricted to just 9 appearances for Chelsea this season and he will become a free agent in the summer with no indication a new contract will be offered to him.
According to the report by Daily Star, Terry could secure a signing-on fee of around £500,000 plus a deal worth around £200,000-a-week if he joins the MLS.
