It was a difficult game at the Turf Moor, and thankfully Tottenham’s loss at Anfield on Saturday helped us gain a point advantage at the top.

It wasn’t the three points that we expected, but Sean Dyche’s men gave good account of themselves at Turf Moor.

See how the players fared:

Courtois: Was helpless when Robbie Brady’s free-kick flew past him into the net in the 24th minute. Made a number of saves to help keep Chelsea in the game. 7/10

Azpilicueta: Was solid when he played as a centre-back, and did alright as a right-back, as Conte switched tactics in the second-half. Committed display from the Spaniard, and was highly interested in giving Chelsea the lead with his forays upfront. 7/10

Luiz: To his credit, he can say he kept a difficult Andre Gray out of the game. Was solid at the back, but an error just after the restart (when the ball slipped through his leg) could have cost his team. 7/10

Cahill: Did his bit at the back and helped marshal the backline. 7/10

Kante: Definitely one of the best player in a blue shirt today. He worked hard and toiled a lot in midfield against a Burnley side that were bent on stunning Chelsea at Turf Moor. 7.5/10

Matic: It wasn’t his day today; he wasn’t creative going forward, and was fortunate his back pass just after the restart didn’t lead to a Burnley goal. Besides that, he worked hard in midfield. 6/10

Moses: He did really well to assist Pedro to score, and he was very direct in his play. Was eventually substituted just after 70 minutes, as Conte switched to a 4-4-2 formation. 7/10

Alonso: Did his job at the back, but he wasn’t at his best going forward today. 6/10

Pedro: He worked hard for his team, took his chance well and got a goal and troubled the Clarets defence when he had the opportunity. Although space got tighter in the second-half for him. 7.5/10

Hazard: Wasn’t his best game today; he was involved in the first goal, but lacked any real space to hurt Burnley afterwards. 6/10

Costa: Didn’t get a sniff on goal, lacked service, but worked hard for the team nevertheless. 6/10

Fabregas: Replaced Matic on the 67th minute, but even the passes from the Spaniard couldn’t break down a strong Burnley defence. 6/10

Willian: Tried to open up space with his direct running when he came on in the 72nd minute, but there was no real threat from his runs. 6/10

Batshuayi: Came on for Pedro with just 3 minutes left of normal time.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
