It was a scary Saturday fixture against Swansea City as the Blues laboured to get all three points at Stamford Bridge. It was quite a difficult game and Fernando Llorente gave Chelsea something to think about when he headed the ball in our goal, late in stoppage time in the first-half.

See how the players fared:

Courtois: Barely had anything to do in the game, and could barely do anything to prevent Llorente’s powerful header which was the only threat from Swansea. 6/10

Cahill: Didn’t do anything wrong in the game, but would take a share of the blame for Llorente’s goal, as he didn’t organise his backline well. 6.5/10

Luiz: Was barely threatened at the back, and he helped push the ball forward at times. 7/10

Azpilicueta: Solid as always; was very reliable at the back. 7/10

Kante: Will be accused of misplacing the ball a couple of times with some poor passes, but he made up for it with his tremendous work rate, tackling and interceptions. 7.5/10

Fabregas: Started his sixth league game of the season, and scored the first goal and assisted the second. His passing was commendable, and played a huge role in today’s victory. 8/10

Moses: The only mistake he made was let go of Llorente for Swansea’s goal, but gave a good account of himself other than that. 6.5/10

Alonso: Did his bit on the left flank; protected the left flank from any possible threat and went forward at will, as Chelsea looked for a winning goal in the latter stages of the second-half. 7/10

Hazard: Was involved in the buildup to Fabregas’ goal, and his assist for Costa’s goal was pure class. 7.5/10

Pedro: Didn’t do too much, but had some key moments in the game. Was involved in the first goal and also scored an all important second goal for Chelsea. 7.5/10

Costa: He loves to score against Swansea, and he did just that today. His goal helped cement Chelsea’s win, and he was also instrumental in the first goal. 7.5/10

Matic: Was brought in for Pedro with 14 minutes left, to help shore the middle. 6/10

Zouma: Replaced Moses with just 5 minutes left of the game.

Willian: Replaced Hazard with just 5 minutes left of the game.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
