Reports have linked Chelsea with Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, and many even believed that he was in London on transfer deadline day to secure a move to Chelsea, albeit he was only in London for treatment.
The January transfer window might have come and gone, but rumours still have it that the in-form striker might be on his way to Chelsea during the summer.
Former Chelsea midfielder and ex-Scottish footballer Craig Burley, believes the 20-year-old might be on his way to Chelsea.
He told ESPN: “Scottish football is quite embarrassing at the moment in terms of the standard but he is head and shoulders [above the rest].
“He’s a good player and is young.
“Chelsea, I’m hearing, are the favourites [to sign him].
“Talking to one or two guys I know back in Scotland, they said he is pretty much nailed on to go to Chelsea and possibly for around £40m.”
Despite only just leaving Fulham for Celtic last June, the 20-year-old has been a huge hit with the Scottish giants, scoring 27 goals in 41 appearances for the club, including a staggering seven in his last three outings.
The Frenchman has already impressed in Europe, bagging three Champions League goals earlier in the season.
