David Luiz has been playing with pain since Sergio Aguero’s horror tackle back in December, but the Brazilian is yet to miss a league game since then.

Before the game against Burnley, Antonio Conte confirmed Luiz has been playing through the pain. “He’s playing with a little pain in his knee,” Conte said ahead of the trip to Turf Moor. “He’s a warrior and he’s playing very well, I’m pleased for him. He’s showing me a great attitude and a will to continue to fight despite the fact that sometimes he has a bit of pain.”

At a time in the game against Burnley, Luiz’s expression showed discomfort, but he was never substituted, and it got some fans angry.
