There’s no doubt that Pedro has been in better form than Willian this season. The Spaniard has been a revelation for Chelsea this season, and looks far different from the Pedro who struggled for form last season.
Pedro has formed an effective partnership with Diego Costa and Eden Hazard, and the work rate he brings into each game has been outstanding, to say the least.
However, despite Pedro’s form this season, stats suggest that Willian might be the better candidate to do the job ahead of Pedro against Burnley. Pedro and Willian are direct competitors for the right-wing role, and it’s either Conte starts the Spaniard or the Brazilian.
Pedro’s form away from home hasn’t been spectacular as his home form. Pedro has one goal and no assists in 10 Premier League away appearances this season – compared to four goals and five assists in 11 games at home. Meanwhile, in Willian’s 10 appearances away from home, he has scored 2 goals and assisted 1.
Will Willian be a better option against Sean Dyche’s men, who have been in good form at home?
