Sunderland are deep in relegation waters, and their fans fear they might go down this season, having survived relegation last season.
Although Blues legend Frank Lampard has announced his retirement from the game, Sunderland fans are desperately in need of his services.
David Moyes’ squad were out on a team bonding break in the United States, to help salvage their season as they currently occupy bottom position in the league. The Sunderland squad probably bumped into the legend and his wife Christine Bleakley, as goalkeeper coach Adrian Tucker took to Twitter to post a picture of himself alongside Lampard and Bleakley.
Nice chat with Frank and Christine after bumping into them in Central Park this Morning..! #nyc pic.twitter.com/ZyrCzqHLBU
