After guiding the Blues through to the quarter finals of the FA Cup on Saturday, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte spent his Sunday watching the FA Cup clash between Fulham and Tottenham at Craven Cottage alongside Carlo Cudicini.
Chelsea have played Tottenham twice in the Premier League this season so Conte was obviously not spying on Tottenham.
Fulham have two Chelsea players on loan, 23-year-old Tomas Kalas and Lucas Piazon, so Conte might have watched the game to get a closer look at the players. Kalas played the game against Tottenham while Piazon didn’t.
Chelsea are also reportedly interested in 16-year-old Fulham left-back Ryan Sessegnon so Conte might also have been in attendance to watch the youngster closely.
We shouldn’t also rule out Conte watching the game as a form of relaxation.
