Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has been in super form for Arsenal this season, but despite all he has done in the Arsenal jersey, the Gunners are still struggling as usual.
The Chilean’s contract will be up at the end of next season, and he’s unwilling to extend his stay at the Emirates. Sanchez’s body language at Arsenal shows a player who has gotten frustrated with the team’s failures.
Chelsea have shown slight interest in the Chilean, and we all know he’ll be a good addition to the squad.
After Arsenal’s loss to Bayern Munich, Chile fans who follow their biggest star wherever he goes have had enough, and they took to protest against his stay in North London. A group of thousands in Sanchez’s homeland Chile, organised a peaceful protest to try and convince the star that he is wasting his time in Arsenal, and that he should quit Arsene Wenger’s team.
A statement on the group’s Facebook page reads: “We, as Chileans are tired to watch one of our biggest stars play on his own to make his team get through.
“We don’t want him to play at Real Madrid, nor go back to Barcelona, we don’t give a f*ck where he plays, we just want him to fight along with other 10 players to get the results.
“He doesn’t deserve to be alone.”
Should Chelsea take advantage of this, and do what Sir Alex Ferguson did in his last season as Manchester United manager – that’s by signing Arsenal’s biggest star at the time — Robin Van Persie?
