Christian Atsu of Ghana and Bertrand Traore of Burkina Faso helped their teams to the semifinals of the African Cup of Nations, and they were key players for their respective teams.

The two players went face to face in the third-placed finals, after losing out in the semifinals. Traore’s Burkina Faso won the bronze medal.

Christian Atsu, currently on loan at Newcastle, was the tournament’s best player two years ago when Ghana lost out to Ivory Coast in the final, and he was named in the team of the tournament.

Bertrand Traore, whose team won the league, was also named in the team of the tournament.
