Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is currently serving a four-match touchline suspension after pushing fourth official Anthony Taylor in the side’s 2-1 victory over Burnley last month.
Saturday’s derby will be the third game of his suspension, but he will not watch the match from the directors’ box, Standard Sport report. Rather, the Arsenal manager will sit among Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge.
Negotiations between the two clubs have been taking place over the past few days to come to a resolution and Wenger will be sat in the middle tier of the East Stand, which is the side of the ground where the dressing rooms are situated.
Chelsea are preparing to escort Wenger to and from his seat in the stand with the help of several stewards, while the Gunners will also bring their security personnel.
You’ll expect the Chelsea fans to ridicule him all afternoon.
