Pedro has been in amazing form for Chelsea this season, and one can even compare his form to his glory days at Barcelona.

Since Willian returned from his compassionate leave (following the death of his mother) in October, it has been difficult for him to return to the starting lineup, as Pedro has shone week in, week out.

Willian revealed that he’s unhappy not to be starting games, but he respects the decision of the manager, and that he’ll fight to win back his shirt.

“It would be more or less that [becoming a reserve]. Of course, no player likes to start the game on the bench,” he told Brazilian outlet Globoesporte.

“To be honest, I do not like it either. I like to be playing forever.

“And when the opportunity comes, you have to try to do your best.

“This is what I have been doing, respecting the coach’s decision and when I enter, I try to do my best to help Chelsea.”
