Eden Hazard didn’t score a goal or get an assist, but he was the most dangerous player in the FA Cup semifinal clash against Manchester United.
Manchester United came with a game plan to eliminate Hazard from the game, but it didn’t work, as the Belgian was on fire and led the Chelsea attack time after time.
Hazard was fouled four times in the first 26 minutes of the game, and within 35 minutes, he had already been fouled 5 times.
Despite United’s plan to disrupt Hazard’s game, he completed seven dribbles, at least three more than anyone else on the pitch, meaning Mourinho’s game plan was ineffective at the end.
Hazard also made 72 completed passes in the game, with a game-high completion rate of 98.6 per cent, as Chelsea reduced United’s spell on the ball to just 28 percent possession.
Indeed, Hazard is the new Superman.
