We all know Jose Mourinho too well, and he has a master’s degree in giving excuses. From injuries to pitch to the referee and even fans sometimes – there’s always something to blame.
Surely, if he loses today’s game against Chelsea, he has already been handed an excuse.
The Portuguese has already declared that the Europa League is more important to him than the FA Cup, and now he’d be travelling to Stamford Bridge without any recognised striker.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is suspended for the game, while Wayne Rooney is injured, and now Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have also joined the queue.
ESPN’s Mark Ogden confirmed that none of Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford made the trip to London.
Rooney, Rashford and Martial all out of #mufc trip to Chelsea. Bad timing, but perhaps convenient excuse for Mourinho if United lose..

BBC Sport reports Martial and Rooney are out due to injury, while Rashford is ill.
HLN’s Kristof Terreur believes Mourinho could start Marouane Fellaini as a false nine.
No Rooney, no Rashford, no Martial on the #MUFC train. Zlatan suspended. A false '9' or Fellaini upfront? #mufc #cfchttps://t.co/PzyOJH5qYX
