This season has been an incredible one for Chelsea so far, and all the players that flopped last season has picked back form, the likes of Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Gary Cahill are worthy mentions.

The year 2017 has been a good one for Chelsea; the Blues have played 10 games in all competitions this year (2017), and have only lost just once. 7 of those games have been wins and 2 of them have ended in draws.

Every player for Chelsea have been good this season, but these four have maintained their consistency since the turn of the new year:

Pedro has been one of Chelsea’s best players this season, and in the year 2017, the Spaniard has been excellent as well.

You might not be wrong if you call Pedro Chelsea’s best player since the turn of the new year. His consistency has kept Willian out of the starting eleven and he has scored the most goals for Chelsea in 2017 (7 goals). The 29-year-old has really been on fire.

N’Golo Kante

N’Golo Kante is another worthy mention in the Chelsea team this year; he has carried his excellent performances at Leicester City to Chelsea, and since the start of the season, he has been superb. He has played every league game for Chelsea this year, and the work rate, energy, interception and ball recovery he brings to the Chelsea midfield cannot be compared to any other player in the team.

David Luiz

David Luiz has been phenomenal this year as well, and despite playing through pain since December, Antonio Conte hasn’t rested the Brazilian in the league.

He plays in the middle of the three centre-backs, and his confidence on the ball, ability to bring the ball out from the back, as well as covering the flaws of the right and left central defenders – is just unbelievable.

Cesar Azpilicueta

The 27-year-old is one of the unsung heroes of the Chelsea team, and while the likes of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa take major credit for our form this season, Azpilicueta deserves just as much praise.

He’s a steel at the back, hardly ever loses the ball, has an incredible work rate and he even goes on to support the attack whenever he can. For a natural fullback to play so well in defence and not lose his discipline is worthy of praise.

Azpilicueta has been one of Chelsea’s most consistent players in 2017 without a doubt.

Who are your four most consistent players in the year 2017? Do you think I left anyone out, and who would you replace in my aforementioned four?

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
