Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been named the 2017 Manager of the Year at the London Football Awards.
Conte saw off competition from Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino and lower-league candidates Slavisa Jokanovic of Fulham, Millwall’s Neil Harris and AFC Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley.
Conte looks on course to guide Chelsea to the Premier League title this season with Chelsea currently sitting 10 points clear of nearest rival Tottenham ahead of the weekend games.
With Chelsea still in the FA Cup, Conte might guide Chelsea to League and FA Cup double, becoming the first team to claim the double since Carlo Ancelotti’s first season at Stamford Bridge in 2009-10.
Congrats Antonio Conte
