Pedro Rodriguez had a super career during his time at his boyhood club Barcelona. But then a superb trio of Messi, Suarez and Neymar – popularly known as MSN made game time hard to get for Pedro. He then moved to Chelsea last season, but his first season in the Premier League didn’t go as planned.
Pedro has been a phenomenon this season, and Spanish football expert Terry Gibson believes the EPL is beginning to see the best of Pedro, while also admitting he’s yet to be replaced at Barca.
Gibson told Sky Sports: “I was interviewed a few times on different TV shows and radio shows and I was saying how good he was.
“He had a disappointing first season at Chelsea but now everyone is beginning to see the Pedro who performed so well at Barcelona.
“You could argue that Barcelona haven’t replaced him.
“I’m pleased to see Pedro back in the Spain squad.
“I’m pleased to see him showing everyone here in the UK how good he is.”
