With Asmir Begovic set to leave Chelsea in the summer as he seeks more first-team football, Chelsea are looking for a goalkeeper to replace Begovic when he leaves in the summer.

Chelsea tried but failed to sign Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon in January and with the goalkeeper signing a new contract with Celtic, Chelsea are now reportedly interested in 30-year-old Uruguay goalkeeper Fernando Muslera according to The Sun.

The Sun claims the goalkeeper was recommended to Chelsea by former goalkeeper coach Christophe Lollichon.

Chelsea will reportedly seek to sign the Galatasaray goalkeeper who is reportedly valued at £15million in the summer to act as backup to Thibaut Courtois.

Muslera is an experienced goalkeeper with 85 caps for Uruguay and more than 340 appearances for Lazio and Galatasaray but it’s yet to be seen if the goalkeeper who is first choice at Galatasaray will agree to move to Stamford Brdige to be a backup goalkeeper.
