Chelsea have been linked with Monaco midfielder Kylian Mbappe, and the youngster has given Chelsea every reason to make it more than a rumour and fight for his signature this summer.
The 18-year-old just made his Ligue One debut just less than two years ago, in a 1-1 home draw against SM Caen on December 2 2015, replacing Fábio Coentrão after 88 minutes, becoming Monaco’s youngest-ever senior debutant aged 16 years 347 days and breaking Thierry Henry’s record set 21 years ago.
In his short career so far, his energy, pace and creativity has made him stand out, and in 11 starts in the Ligue One this season, he has scored 11 goals, making him one of the most sought-after youngsters.
He capped a beautiful display against Caen in the French league with a brace.
Chelsea have been linked with Mbappe, and he’s shown that he’s worth the rumours and is worth wearing the Blue jersey.
