Chelsea’s last visit to the London Stadium was October’s 2-1 loss to West Ham in the EFL Cup.
Ex-Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas believes Chelsea will love playing at the London Stadium against West Ham due to the bigger pitch compared to the more compact pitch of Upton Park.
“I think they struggle with the size of it,” Jenas told BBC Sport.
“The midfield of West Ham have got those small, technically good 5-a-side players – people like Mark Noble, Lanzini who like to play in tight areas, who are very comfortable on the ball.
“The minute those spaces start to get a bit bigger, they’ve been getting opened.
“I think this game is just perfect for Chelsea.
“They’ve got athletes in their side, they’ve got runners in their side.
“I think West Ham are going to struggle to get a kick.”
