Chelsea Under-18s were in good form away from home on Tuesday evening as they defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in the first leg of the FA Youth Cup semifinals.
Reece James scored from a Tariq Uwakwe corner to put Chelsea in front in the 34th minute of the game, and just six minutes later, Ike Ugbo scored his fifth Youth Cup goal of the season, with Dujon Sterling providing the assist for Ugbo’s headed goal.
Kazaiah Sterling scored late in the game to end the match 2-1 in Chelsea’s favour.
Chelsea U18 head into the second leg with an advantage, not only from the win but from the two away goals that were scored.
