CONTE KEEN ON LANDING MONACO DUO THIS SUMMER…. THEY WILL COMPETE WITH HAZARD AND MOSES

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reportedly keen on singing Monaco duo Djibril Sidibe and Thomas Lemar in the summer as he seeks to strengthen the squad ahead of next season with Chelsea set to return to the Champions League according to Daily Star.

24-year-old Djibril Sidibe would compete with Victor Moses in the right wing-back position for Chelsea. Conte is eager to add to Chelsea’s right wing-back options with Moses as our only right wing-back with Pedro occasionally dropping back to cover.

21-year-old Thomas Lemar currently plays as a left winger for Monaco but he started off as a central midfielder. Conte reportedly wants him to compete with Eden Hazard in Chelsea’s left wing position although previous reports have claimed Conte wants him as a central midfielder.

Conte has reportedly given up on a deal for Schalke’s Sead Kolasinac after the left-back opted to join Juventus when his contract ends in the summer.
