Antonio Conte’s latest statement implies that he would play a full-strength Chelsea team against Manchester United in the FA Cup quarterfinals.

Chelsea last played on Monday night – in the 2-1 win against West Ham, and Conte has admitted that the team has had enough time to rest, so need to rest players.

Conte said he had given no promises to his squad players, including John Terry, who had appeared in previous rounds, hinting that he will play his best side.

“I don’t see the necessity to rest people,” he said. “Also because, I repeat, United will do the same against us.

“I didn’t promise anything. No. I didn’t promise anything in the FA Cup. Nothing. I didn’t promise nothing to anyone.”
