Up next for Chelsea in the Premier League is a trip to Stoke City. The first leg was quite difficult and Chelsea won the game 4-2.
Antonio Conte expects another tough game from the Potters on Saturday.
“It won’t be easy,” Conte stressed. “They’re a really strong, physical team with great players. For this reason, we must pay great attention and focus.
“In the game at Stamford Bridge, Stoke City played very well. We won 4-2, but the game was played very well by both teams.
“They have a really good team, a good coach, and for sure they want to prepare in the right way for this game. We will have a tough test.
“Honestly in England it’s difficult to understand and try to work against your opponent, because they don’t give [away] a lot of information,’ Conte added.
“It’s very different, because in Italy usually you know everything about your opponent. Here it’s a bit difficult to know for example the system the opponent wants to play, or if there is an injury.
“When you are used to working or preparing for the game when you have some information about your opponent it’s good. If you want to try something offensively or under pressure, it’s important to know the system of your opponent.”
