Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly was highly needed by Chelsea during the summer transfer window but Napoli held back from letting the Senegal international join Chelsea.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has identified Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly as his top priority target for the summer, according to reports from Italy, The Mirror claim.
The Mirror (per Italian site TuttoMercatoWeb) claim the Senegalese international has been earmarked as John Terry’s successor, should the former England captain finally call time on his illustrious career with the Blues.
The 25-year-old has been a linchpin in Napoli’s defence and Conte is said to be a huge favourite of the Senegalese.
