Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s career seems to have stalled at Chelsea, but there’s no denying the talent he has.
The 21-year-old scored a brace for the England U21s and former England goalkeeper David James believes a loan move away from Chelsea will be the best thing for Loftus-Cheek.
“I don’t know why this season and even the beginning of next season if Conte’s not going to play him why they don’t do what they did with [Victor] Moses and loan him out to a Premier League side,” James told BT Sport.
“We’re fixated in England by following the Harry Kane model and going to the Championship, but he’s a Premier League player.
“He can’t get in the best side in England at the moment which is understandable.
“But why can’t he go and play for the likes of Sunderland, the likes of Burnley?”
