Borussia Dortmund beat Benfica 4-0 on Wednesday night to qualify for the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League, with the aggregate score 4-1 in their favour.
Prior to their win against the Portuguese club, Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel took a dig at Chelsea.
Ahead of the second leg, Tuchel was asked if that 1-0 scoreline meant his team will need to start the game cautiously. Tuchel replied: “If I were the coach of Chelsea, Juve or Atletico, maybe I would come up with a different answer.
“But when the floodlights go on tomorrow night in Dortmund and all the people will support us, then it is about attacking.”
Touche! Now I Can’t wait for next season where we’d be back in Europe to reignite our position as one of Europe’s finest. A win against Dortmund will just be perfect.
