Chelsea are on course to win the Premier League this season, and with 10 points separating Chelsea and second-placed Tottenham, and with 12 games to go, Chelsea already have one hand on the Premier League title.
Former Chelsea assistant manager Steve Clarke, who was a key figure in Jose Mourinho’s first stint in charge of Chelsea, believes his former club are 99% sure of winning the league, although he warns that a capitulation of form can cause Chelsea to lose the league.
Clarke told Sky Sports: “I can’t see it 100 per cent but 99 per cent convinced that they are going to get there.
“I think only a catastrophic loss of form can cost them the title.
“I don’t think anyone who has watched Chelsea this season can see that coming.”
Chelsea’s next game will be against West Ham on Monday 5, and that will be a tricky fixture that the Blues will need to win to go closer to the finish line.
